It behaves exactly like the standard wrap in use: a rigid twin-wall spiral that grips the stem on a push fit, needing no cable ties, clips or stakes, and expanding as the stem thickens rather than constricting it. That makes it fast to fit on high-volume hedgerow and whip planting, where the labour cost of fixings across thousands of plants is real money.
The difference comes at the end. New hedgerow planting is one of the worst cases for guard retrieval — by the time the protection has done its job the hedge has usually closed up, and getting a team in to pull spirals out of an established hedge line is slow, awkward work that often simply does not happen. The bio wrap removes that problem entirely: it gives 3+ years of functional protection and then breaks down over a further 3+ years in suitable soil conditions, leaving water, biomass and minerals.
Specify 40cm for light rabbit pressure and short transplants, 60cm for rabbits and 75cm where hares are present.
